Kaamatan at Sawangan, Kuala Penyu

Hi all...at last I'm back at civilization once again. My school is having a break tomorrow so here I am back at where life began, Kota Kinabalu.....Next week I'll be attending a workshop at Airport View Kota Kinabalu.....the life of a teacher (buzy ja owez).

Anyway I went photo shooting at Pantai Sawangan di Kuala Penyu last Saturday during the Pesta Kaamatan held there. Didn't find time to show all the photos I took there as I was quite buzy lately. Here are some of the events that took place (i'll be posting more photos soon)....

To me, photography is not something that should be kept to oneself, but should be shared. Photography has opened up a lot of opportunities for me, and this is especially true when I was asked to take wedding photos for a few couples. I must admit that it was not that easy as I had to cover every inch of the wedding *haha*...It was a rewarding experiance, I must say. And I hope to do many more wedding photography. These are a few samples of wedding photos that I took. I am sorry as I could not display all the photos as the couples only allowed me to use a few of their photos....thx guys

On the 13th of March 2009 (during school break) I was asked to do a photo shoot with the final year trainee nurses at Kota Kinabalu Nursing College at Bukit Padang. It was fun working with them as they were quite cheerful and easy to work with. Having said that, I must say that it was not really 'that' easy as the group consists of 92 trainee nurses!! My Latest Passion....Photography!

To be hooked up in photography still remains a mystery to me. Never had I encountered something which really pushes me to the limit. As they say, eat photography, sleep photogaphy, drink photography. I find that this new passion of mine offers multitude of satisfaction to me personally...it enables me to 'see' and interpret images in a new perspective. A few examples of my fruits of labour...


















These are only a few samples of my collections. I still have a lot to learn about photography. I'm lucky though, as I got time on my side.
